National Public Toilet Map
Hold on to your hemorrhoids people - Friday is World Toilet Day! Fitting, considering I see more public toilets on a Friday than any other day of the week - in bars and pubs across the city.
Loo day coincides with the final day of "World Toilet Summit 2004", which started today in Beijing. In its fourth year, the three day dunny do attracts 150 academics from some 20 countries and aims to promote toilet hygiene and etiquette. So, with that in mind, I present the National Public Toilet Map.
NPTM (as I like to call it) is an initiative of the National Continence Management Strategy. (As a side note, might I mention how impressed I am to hear the incontinent now have a "strategy" - I only thought they needed to be able to run with their legs crossed.) The map lists every public toilet in the country. I provide it here in the hope that you'll do your bit to make this World Toilet Day the best ever.
