City Beat - WTF?

Channel Seven has been showing this freakin ridiculous TV show from New Zealand recently called City Beat. It follows these security guards from "First Security" as they stick their noses where they aren't wanted in downtown Auckland.
There is no explanation of who employs them, why they seem to think they have any authority in a public space or why the drunken locals they scream at and push around take so much rubbish from them. It's completely fantastic. Late Wednesday nights.
